HOMEDEC Good Shopping Time 2015 @ KLCC

HOMEDEC (Home Decor and Design Exhibition) kick-started the first series of its 2015 exhibitions yesterday at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. Held in a post-GST era, the theme of this exhibition is also aptly named - Good Shopping Time and promises to provide homeowners a truly fun and positive shopping experience.

More than 380 participating companies booked 1,100 booths at this year's HOMEDEC. The variety of products is extensive - ranging from home appliances, bathroom products and kitchen cabinets to bedding, decorative items and lighting.

Members of the media were given a preview of the exhibition today at 1130am.

ALFO is promising 60-80% in savings at their booth.

Next was a visit to the Alpha Home booth to preview the ARVIO series ceiling fan made from wood.

The fans' unique design and energy saving capabilities will add a lovely touch to your home.

Radio DJ Chan Fong from 988 FM is one of the ambassadors for Cuckoo International (Mal) Sdn Bhd. He is showcasing an alkaline water purifying machine from Korea.

The black Cuckoo IH Pressure Multi-cooker has 14 cooking modes and three voice navigation options for hassle-free cooking.

Visitors have the opportunity to win cash vouchers up to RM5,000 if they upload and caption a photo of themselves with this oversized Cuckoo IH pressure multi-cooker at the foyer of Hall 4.

The tour ended with a media lunch cum press conference by C.I.S.

Dato' Vincent acknowledges the necessity of GST, hence Homedec introduced a "Good Shopping Time" concept to continue to let homeowners experience shopping, learning and inspiration at great prices.

After lunch, we were treated to a freestyle dance presentation in front of the Cuckoo booth.

Nippon Paint Malaysia Group continues to promote it's novel Momento special effect paint for interior use.

This booth was thronged with customers because it sold the one of the cheapest items during the exhibition.

My friend was very impressed wih this Laurastar Pulse steam iron from Visionary Solutions Sdn Bhd. The sales people are very helpful and will explain all aspects of the iron to you.

In line with the 'Good Shopping Time' theme, exhibitiors are also advertising GST-inclusive signs at their booth.

 Isaiah organic mattresses with bamboo charcoal tech fiber promises better sleep for its users.

You can get a slice of Hollywood at the fair from RM50 with these picture frames.

At this fair, I noticed a growing demand for children-themed bedrooms.

AFC presenter Sherson Lian partnered with Verra Kitchen to showcase a cooking demo at Homedec.

Not sure what this dish is called but it sure looks tempting.
