I was just at a wedding in Melbourne a few weeks ago. It was beautiful.

As an [occasional] wedding photographer, I've seen it all. Laughter, smiles, tears of joy, happiness. Kissing, holding hands, hugging. Great food, lively music, cake cutting, toasting, speeches, games, dancing.

It is easy to fall in love, but keeping it alive in the long run (especially after marriage) is the challenge. I guess some of us give up too easily sometimes, and are content with co-habitating, having kids and sharing the house. Some of us prefer to be single, easing the responsibility of being accountable to someone. Those who do get married sometimes prefer moving on from marriage to marriage, such as Elizabeth Taylor who has been married eight times to seven husbands.

Whatever it is, we all have to answer to our own lives. God doesn't create us to be robots and 'commands' us to be single or to be married, although the good book did say - "It is not good for (the) man to be alone."

I hope I will be happy for the path that I choose.

Good evening everyone.
